Audience: Breast cancer survivors and race participants
A regional race supporting breast cancer research added an initiative to promote a program encouraging proactive actions to prevent and reduce breast cancer risk. This new initiative was launched on race day and encouraged the community to commit to breast health for themselves and the women in their lives.
The race organizers chose this sports bottle to give away with race packets and imprinted each with the new engagement program's name and the accompanying hashtag. Inserted into each sports bottle was an informational card with breast health facts and steps to become proactive about breast health. Bottles were heavily photographed throughout the event, showing up in many of the official race day photos, and the organization saw hundreds of social media posts using the hashtag.
